Rectangular tube insert 100×150 mm, white, 5.0–8.0 mm wall thickness

The white Rectangular tube insert 100x150 mm is a finishing component for closing the ends of rectangular tubes with a nominal size of 100 x 150 mm. For installation companies, it provides a simple way to protect and neatly finish the open ends of structural tubes.

The insert is made of polyethylene. The external flange covers the edge of the tube for a neat finish, while the ribbed internal section fits inside the tube and holds the insert in place. Inserts of this type protect the inside of the tube from dirt and help prevent accidental damage to the edges.

Selection and applications

Insert construction

The insert consists of a flat external flange and an internal section with a core and multiple ribs. The ribs flex as the insert is pressed into the tube and press against its walls, holding the insert in the opening. The external flange remains outside, covering the edge and cross-section of the tube.

Its low unit weight and small-parcel size make the insert easy to transport and store.
