Rectangular aluminium tube 40×80×2 mm is a versatile closed profile made from aluminium alloy EN AW-6060 T64 (PA38 / AlMgSi0.5). Thanks to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and natural corrosion resistance, this profile is ideal wherever lightweight construction and ease of fabrication are required — from frames and mounting structures, to balustrades and handrails, to aluminium structures in photovoltaics and construction.
The rectangular cross-section of 40×80 mm provides high rigidity at a low self-weight of just 2.51 kg per 2-metre length. The profile is easy to cut, drill, bend and join — reducing assembly time and helping to lower project costs.
