Rectangular aluminium tube 20×40×3 mm – EN AW-6060 profile L=2000 mm
Rectangular aluminium tube 20×40×3 mm is a versatile closed profile with a rectangular cross-section, designed for building lightweight yet rigid aluminium structures. Made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), it combines low self-weight with good corrosion resistance — without the need for additional surface protection. The profile is supplied in a length of 2000 mm and weighs just 1.76 kg, which greatly facilitates transport, storage and on-site processing.
Aluminium PA38 is excellently suited to cutting, drilling, bending and joining — both by means of rivets and screws, as well as TIG/MIG welding. As a result, the profile performs well wherever precision and speed of assembly are important: from frames and load-bearing structures, through balustrades and handrails, to decorative elements, furniture and modelling applications.
