Rectangular aluminium tube 10×40×2 mm is a sturdy closed profile with a length of 2000 mm, made from aluminium alloy EN AW-6060 T64 (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio and high corrosion resistance, this profile is suitable wherever lightweight construction and durability are required — from frames and mounting structures to balustrades, furniture components, and aluminium constructions.
The rectangular profile with a cross-section of 10 × 40 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm combines low self-weight with high bending stiffness along the longer side. The raw, non-anodised aluminium surface allows for any finishing treatment — anodising, powder coating, or leaving in its natural state. The material is easy to machine: cutting, drilling, bending, and joining, which significantly speeds up assembly work on site and in the workshop.
