Optimizer PV S1200 Solaredge is an advanced commercial solution that improves power generation efficiency by individually tracking the maximum power point (MPPT) for each panel.
This ensures a certain level of autonomy and protection for each PV module. The weaker performance of one module does not adversely affect the others in the system, eliminating power losses due to external factors such as shading or dirt, enabling higher energy production.
Solaredge's S1200 PV Optimizer allows for flexible plant design, taking into account different directions, inclinations and module types in a single chain. Working with SolarEdge inverters, it maintains a constant voltage in the chain, allowing even greater flexibility with longer chains and chains of different lengths.
With remote monitoring at the module level, EPC companies and O&M operators can effectively track system performance and quickly detect and fix problems.
SolarEdge power optimizers also offer industry-leading safety mechanisms, such as the SafeDC™ function, which automatically reduces high DC voltage in the event of a grid or inverter failure. In addition, SolarEdge Sense Connect continuously monitors the power optimizers' connections, identifying potential faults for early detection and prevention of arcing.
