Description
Sheet metal band, 2 mm thick, around a 100 × 100 mm post, with two lugs on opposite sides, 2 × M8 × 25 bolts and spacers for Ø 4 mm wire
About the product
The intermediate fence post clamp is used to secure two fence panels to one post along a straight section of fencing. The sheet metal band wraps around the post, while two lugs on opposite faces hold the wires of the adjacent panels.
The internal dimensions a × a are 100 × 100 mm, so the clamp fits a post with this cross-section. The sheet thickness s is 2 mm. The set includes 2 × M8 × 25 bolts with nuts and plastic spacers for Ø 4 mm wire.
The coating (zinc-coated and powder-coated, anthracite RAL 7016) protects the steel against corrosion under typical conditions. In the event of contact with salt, chemicals or constant moisture, choose a version suitable for the exposure conditions.
Selection and installation
- ✓Check the post cross-section – the clamp fits 100 × 100 mm posts.
- ✓Fit the clamp around the post so that the lugs sit on opposite sides of the post, in line with the panels.
- ✓Insert the panel wire into the plastic spacer and tighten the M8 bolt in the lug.
Important
The supplied spacer is sized for Ø 4 mm wire. For panels with a different wire diameter, choose a suitable spacer.
