Description
Fence post cap Ø 38 mm, brown
The brown Fence post cap Ø 38 mm finishes round posts by closing the open top of the tube. It gives the post a neat, finished appearance and helps prevent rainwater and dirt from entering the tube.
The cap is made of polyethylene, a plastic commonly used for outdoor components exposed to moisture and changing weather conditions. It has a circular raised detail on top and a smooth, slightly domed surface.
Applications and selection
- Finishing round fence posts Ø 38 mm
- Protecting the open end of the tube from water and dirt
- Giving the fence a consistent appearance with matching caps on all posts
- Finishing posts in fences, railings and similar structures made from round tubes
Post caps help prevent moisture from entering the top of the tube and give the fence a complete, tidy appearance. When selecting caps, match the internal diameter of the cap to the external diameter of the post and the quantity to the number of posts in the project. The cap fits over the top end of the post.
Polyethylene is lightweight and easy to work with during installation, making it a common choice for finishing posts and profiles. The brown cap can be matched to fences where the posts are to be finished in this shade.
