Description
Fence post cap 20×30 mm, black
Fence post cap for 20×30 mm fence posts is a finishing element for closing the open end of a rectangular profile. Made of polyethylene in black, it is fitted onto the top end of the post, giving the fence a neat, uniform finish.
Caps of this type protect the inside of the profile against rainwater, dirt and small objects getting in, which helps protect the post from moisture build-up on the inside. Closing the open section also improves the appearance of the fence and tidies its top line.
The pitched, sloping shape of the top of the cap is a traditional way of finishing fence posts. Black is a neutral and versatile colour, so it is a popular choice for fences in dark colours.
