Description
Fence post cap 1 1/2" (Ø 48.3 mm), grey
The Fence post cap 1 1/2" is a finishing component for round fence posts. It fits over the top end of the tube, giving the post a neat, closed finish.
Plastic caps and plugs are commonly used to protect the open ends of tubes in fencing. A closed post looks neater, and the inside of the tube is covered from above.
Application and selection

When selecting a cap, compare the external diameter of the post with the internal diameter of the cap given in the specification. The product is sold individually, so the number of caps can be matched to the number of posts in the installation.
Installation and use
The cap is fitted over the top end of the post. Before installation, ensure that the end of the tube is clean and evenly cut, and that all posts in the fence are fitted with the same model.
Their low weight and compact dimensions make the caps convenient to transport and handle on site, and they can also be sent as a small parcel.
