Description
Fence post cap 1 1/2" (Ø 48.3 mm), green
The green 1 1/2" fence post cap is designed to protect the top opening of round posts with a diameter of 48.3 mm. It seals the tube section, so rainwater, dirt and leaves cannot get inside the post, and the fence gains a neat, finished top.
The cap is made of polyethylene, a material widely used for outdoor components and valued for its light weight and resistance to moisture. The green colour blends well with fence panels and mesh in the same shade, making it easier to achieve a consistent look along the whole fence line.
Applications and selection
- Finishing round 1 1/2" fence posts in gardens, on properties and on allotments
- Protecting the inside of the tube from water and contamination
- Completing green mesh and panel fences
- Sold individually – easy to match the quantity to the number of posts on the job
Caps of this type are selected to match the outer diameter of the post, so before ordering it is worth making sure that the posts used have a round 1 1/2" section. For installation companies, it is a simple finishing element that completes the fence installation and tidies its appearance.
