Equal leg aluminium angle 25×25×2 mm – L-profile, length 2000 mm

Equal leg aluminium angle 25×25×2 mm is a versatile L-profile made from alloy EN AW-6060 T6/T66 (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), designed for support structures, mounting frames, finishing and repairs. With equal legs measuring 25 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm, the profile combines good rigidity with low weight — just 0.52 kg per two-metre length. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows direct welding, bonding or any finishing treatment without the need to remove a coating.

6060 series aluminium is characterised by excellent corrosion resistance, good suitability for anodising and ease of mechanical processing — cutting, drilling and bending. The T6/T66 temper provides increased strength following heat treatment, resulting in long-lasting finished structures.

Applications

This angle profile is suitable wherever lightweight yet robust stiffening or right-angle joining of components is required. Typical applications include support structures for photovoltaic installations, enclosure and cabinet frames, stiffeners for mounting profiles, façade finishing elements, as well as all manner of repairs and modifications to aluminium structures. The standard length of 2000 mm simplifies transport and allows optimum cutting to size with minimal waste.
