The equal leg aluminium angle 20×20×2 mm is a versatile L-profile designed for structural, finishing and assembly applications. Made from EN AW-6060 T6/T66 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), it combines low weight with good rigidity and high corrosion resistance — characteristics that are particularly important for outdoor use, including photovoltaic installations.

The profile, with a length of 2000 mm and a weight of just 0.42 kg, is easy to transport and process. The raw, non-anodised aluminium surface allows for further treatment — anodising, powder coating, or leaving in its natural state. The equal legs measuring 20 × 20 mm provide a symmetrical load distribution, making it easier to design joints and frames.

Properties of EN AW-6060 T6/T66 alloy

EN AW-6060 alloy in the T6/T66 temper is one of the most popular aluminium alloys for extruded profiles. It is characterised by good weldability, ease of machining, and high resistance to atmospheric corrosion. The T6/T66 temper denotes heat treatment that provides an optimal compromise between strength and ductility — the profile is sufficiently rigid for structural applications whilst remaining easy to cut and drill with standard tools.
