PV DC Surge Protective Device Type 1+2 (B+C) 1200V 3P 12.5kA 4.4kV ETITEC SM T12 PV 1200/12.5 Y 002440630 ETI protects PV modules against surges originating both directly from atmospheric discharges and those resulting from indirect discharges and switching operations in the network. The surge arrester is an ideal solution for facilities equipped with external lightning protection systems, safeguarding the system against unpredictable overvoltages.
Each pole of the arrester is equipped with internal thermal protection in the form of a disconnector, providing an additional layer of protection. The device is mounted on a DIN TH-35 rail, facilitating installation and integration with existing systems. It offers a surge protection level of up to 4.4 kV at a continuous operating voltage Uc of 1200 V.
The arrester is also equipped with an optical varistor failure indicator, where a red "window" signals potential device damage, enabling rapid service intervention.
