The EPDM gasket for carport canopies and photovoltaic panel joints, supplied in a 30-metre length, is a ready-made solution for installation companies carrying out projects involving PV modules mounted on carport structures, garage canopies and pergolas. Made from an EPDM rubber compound (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber), the profile provides durable sealing of gaps between panels 17–22 mm wide, protecting the space beneath the modules from rain, dust and dirt. The flexible shape of the gasket, with an internal chamber and side wings, allows it to be easily fitted into the inter-module gap — installation is done by hand, without the need for specialist tools. The profile is compatible with panels mounted in both portrait and landscape orientation, giving full design freedom at the installation planning stage.

The gasket's cross-section has a domed shape with a ribbed upper surface that channels water to the sides. The lower part of the profile features an oval chamber and side wings that grip the edges of the module frames — this keeps the gasket firmly in place even in strong wind. The cross-section dimensions (42 × 16.5 mm, base 24 mm) have been chosen to fit the typical inter-module gaps found in carport structures.
Photos from completed installations show how the gasket fills the space between modules, creating an aesthetic and weathertight finish for the carport canopy. The profile sits flush against the panel frames along their entire length, while the domed top surface effectively channels away rainwater, protecting the supporting structure and the space beneath.
