Domed round tube insert Ø 28 mm, white
The domed round tube insert Ø 28 mm in white is a finishing component for closing the open ends of round tubes. The convex, domed head neatly conceals the tube end, while the ribbed insert fits inside the tube.
Inserts of this type are used to finish tubular structures such as frames, support structures, balustrades, supports and metal furniture. The closed tube end is protected against dirt and debris entering the tube, while the edge is concealed for a neater appearance.

The wall thickness range of 1.0–2.0 mm allows the insert to be used with various tubes with an outside diameter of 28 mm. The ribs press against the inside of the tube and hold the insert in place once pressed in.
When selecting a round tube insert, the outside diameter and wall thickness of the tube are essential. These determine how firmly the ribs press against the inside of the tube. To install, press the insert into the open end of the tube until the head sits flush against the edge.
