Description
Countersunk timber screw, zinc-plated, TX20, 4.0×25 mm – fully threaded – pack of 1000

The Countersunk timber screw with a Torx drive is a fastener designed for timber joints. The product is supplied in a pack of 1000 screws – one unit in the shop represents the entire pack.
The countersunk head sits flush with the timber surface, giving the joint a smooth finish. The Torx drive provides secure bit engagement during installation, while the thread runs along the full length of the screw and allows the timber components to be drawn together.
Applications
- Carpentry and structural timber joints
- Fixing timber components where the head needs to sit flush with the surface
- Timber finishing work requiring a flush surface

Material and coating
The screw is made from low-carbon steel and protected with an electroplated zinc coating. The zinc coating protects the steel surface against corrosion – zinc-plated fasteners are commonly used in timber construction and carpentry.
Timber screws are selected according to the thickness and type of timber being joined. The 4.0×25 mm size is suitable for fixing thin components. A pack of 1000 screws of the same size is intended for contractors who need a larger quantity of identical fasteners.
