Aluminium round tube Ø16×2 mm EN AW-6060 T6 – length 2000 mm
Aluminium round tube Ø16×2 mm is a versatile closed profile with a circular cross-section, designed for building lightweight structures, frames, supports and finishing elements. Made of EN AW-6060 T6 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38) in the hardened temper, it combines low weight with high stiffness and aluminium's natural resistance to corrosion. The raw, non-anodised surface allows any finishing treatment: anodising, powder coating or leaving it in its natural state.
The profile is easy to machine – it can be cut, drilled, threaded, bent and joined by welding, riveting and bonding. The 2000 mm length corresponds to standard commercial formats, which makes material planning easier and minimises waste on site.

Properties of EN AW-6060 T6 alloy
AlMgSi0.5 alloy in the T6 temper (solution heat-treated and artificially aged) offers good mechanical strength, excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion and very good formability and machinability. It is one of the most commonly used aluminium alloys in construction and industry – ideal for structural elements that do not require the highest strength grades, while providing low dead weight and a long service life without the need for additional anti-corrosion coatings.
The profile is supplied in fixed-length sections, which makes material planning easier when cutting to size and minimises waste on the construction site.
