Aluminium flat bar 30×10 mm made from alloy EN AW-6060 T6/T66 (AlMgSi0.5) is a versatile flat profile intended for structural, finishing, and installation applications. Combining low weight with good rigidity and aluminium's natural corrosion resistance, the flat bar performs reliably wherever durability and ease of machining matter — from frames and reinforcements for photovoltaic structures, through finishing components, to repairs and custom mounting solutions.

The T6/T66 heat treatment condition provides an optimal balance between mechanical strength and suitability for further processing — cutting, drilling, or bending. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows direct painting, anodising, or leaving in its natural state depending on project requirements.

Technical Specifications

  • Cross-section: flat bar (flat profile)
  • Width (A): 30 mm
  • Thickness (T): 10 mm
  • Length: 2000 mm
  • Material: aluminium EN AW-6060 T6/T66 (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38)
  • Surface: raw (non-anodised)
  • Weight per piece (2 m): 1.60 kg (linear density 0.80 kg/m)

Applications

The 30×10 aluminium flat bar is widely used in installation and construction work. It can serve as a reinforcing element for support structures beneath photovoltaic panels, a spacer or mounting shim, a finishing strip, as well as material for building frames, brackets, and custom fastening components. The low weight — just 1.60 kg per 2-metre piece — makes handling and installation straightforward, while corrosion resistance eliminates the need for additional anti-corrosion protection in most outdoor applications.
