Description
Aluminium ferrule for 5 mm steel wire rope – EN 13411-3

GMTA aluminium ferrule for crimping steel wire ropes with a diameter of 5 mm, manufactured in accordance with EN 13411-3. The aluminium ferrule is used for permanently joining and terminating steel wire ropes — it is an essential component in the production of wire rope slings and wherever a reliable crimped rope connection is required. Being made of aluminium, the ferrule is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and easy to work with — crimping is carried out using a standard press or crimping pliers, which allows eyes and rope loops to be formed quickly directly on site.
Advantages of the aluminium ferrule
- Certified compliance with the European standard guarantees consistent quality of every crimped connection
- The aluminium construction provides low dead weight and natural resistance to atmospheric corrosion
- The oval profile of the sleeve is precisely matched to the rope — a secure fit without play or slippage
- The compact design makes installation easier in places with limited working space
- Sold as single units — you can order exactly the quantity you need
