Description
Aluminium ferrule for 3 mm steel wire rope – EN 13411-3

The aluminium ferrule for 3 mm steel wire rope is a rigging component designed for the permanent crimping of steel wire ropes. The GMTA-type aluminium sleeve is formed in accordance with the European crimping standard, which guarantees repeatable dimensions and a reliable connection in professional applications. The ferrule is used primarily for making wire rope slings, both for photovoltaic installations (guying of ground-mounted structures, installation safety lines) and for general industrial applications. The compact form of the sleeve and its low weight make it comfortable to work with, even when a large number of crimps is needed within a single project. Aluminium as the base material offers good ductility during crimping, as well as natural resistance to atmospheric corrosion.
Advantages of the ZLA aluminium ferrule
