Description
Aluminium ferrule for 20 mm steel wire ropes – EN 13411-3

The 20 mm aluminium ferrule for steel wire ropes is a professional pressing element used to form permanent loops (eyes) on steel wire ropes. The aluminium sleeve is swaged onto the rope with a hydraulic press, creating a strong connection used in the production of wire rope slings in accordance with EN 13411-3. Being made of aluminium, the ferrule is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and easy to work with, which makes work easier on site and when assembling slings in the workshop. The oval cross-section of the sleeve ensures an even distribution of pressure on the rope during pressing, minimising the risk of damage to the strands and extending the service life of the termination.
Key advantages for the installer
- Compliance with EN 13411-3 – assurance that the wire rope sling is made correctly
- Aluminium construction providing low weight and resistance to atmospheric corrosion
- Oval sleeve profile that makes it easier to position the rope correctly before pressing
- Precise dimensions matched to ropes with a diameter of 20 mm
- Sold individually – you can order the exact quantity you need for your job
