Description
Aluminium ferrule for 12 mm steel wire ropes – EN 13411-3

GMTA aluminium ferrule for crimping steel wire ropes with a diameter of 12 mm, manufactured in accordance with EN 13411-3. The GMTA aluminium ferrule is used to form permanent loops (eye splices) at the ends of steel wire ropes — it is an essential component in the production of wire rope slings used in photovoltaic, lifting and guying installations. The aluminium construction provides low self-weight while maintaining adequate strength of the crimped connection. The ferrule is designed for swage (press) crimping — once correctly crimped, it creates a durable and secure connection between the wire rope and a fitting, wire rope thimble or other hardware.
Advantages of the GMTA aluminium ferrule
- Made of aluminium — lightweight and easy to work with on site
- Compliance with EN 13411-3 guarantees consistent quality of crimped connections
- Oval ferrule cross-section suited to the double pass of the rope when forming a loop
- Universal use in the production of wire rope slings, guy lines and installation fixings
- Sales unit: 1 piece — you can order exactly the quantity you need
