Description
Aluminium ferrule for 10 mm steel wire ropes – EN 13411-3

GMTA aluminium ferrule for swaging steel wire ropes with a diameter of 10 mm, manufactured in accordance with EN 13411-3. The aluminium sleeve is used to form permanent loops (eyes) at the ends of steel wire ropes and is a basic component in the production of wire rope slings. Swaging is carried out with a hydraulic or manual press, which ensures a secure and repeatable connection without the need for bolted clamps. Being made of aluminium, the ferrule is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and does not damage the surface of the rope during swaging. A proven solution for sling assemblers, crane service companies and installers of structures that require wire rope connections.
Advantages of the GMTA aluminium ferrule
- Compliance with EN 13411-3 — ensures safe, repeatable connections
- Aluminium provides low weight and resistance to atmospheric corrosion
- Precise internal dimensions of the sleeve matched to 10 mm rope — secure clamping without deforming the rope
- Quick installation using a standard swaging press
- Proven use in the production of wire rope slings, guy ropes and safety lines
