Aluminium Flat Bar EN AW-6060 40×6 mm – Flat Profile L=2000 mm
Aluminium flat bar 40×6 mm with a length of 2000 mm, made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), is a versatile flat profile designed for structural, assembly and finishing applications. With a low weight of just 1.30 kg per 2-metre section, the material is easy to transport and process, enabling faster completion of on-site work.
The EN AW-6060 alloy in the T64 temper provides good rigidity and mechanical strength whilst retaining sufficient ductility for further processing — bending, drilling or cutting. Aluminium is inherently corrosion resistant, eliminating the need for additional surface protection in most indoor applications and many outdoor ones.

Applications
The 40×6 mm aluminium flat bar is suited wherever a lightweight yet strong structural element is required. It is used, among other things, as reinforcement for frames and mounting structures, a finishing element, a profile connector, a spacer shim or as a material for ad hoc repairs on site. The raw surface allows for further processing — anodising, powder coating, or leaving without any additional coating in environments with low corrosive aggressiveness.
