Aluminium Flat Bar 40×20 mm EN AW-6060 T64 – Length 2000 mm
Aluminium flat bar 40×20 mm is a robust flat profile made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), supplied in a length of 2000 mm. Thanks to its favourable stiffness-to-weight ratio, it serves as a versatile structural element — ideal for building frames, substructures, trims, and all manner of repair and assembly work. The raw, non-anodised aluminium surface provides natural corrosion resistance whilst remaining suitable for further treatment (anodising, powder coating) to meet the requirements of any specific project.
The EN AW-6060 alloy in the T64 temper combines good machinability with high mechanical strength. The profile can be cut, drilled, milled, and welded by TIG/MIG methods without the need for specialist tooling — resulting in faster project completion and lower on-site labour costs.
