Aluminium flat bar 20×2 mm is a versatile flat profile made from alloy EN AW-6060 T64 (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its low weight of just 0.22 kg per 2-metre length and excellent corrosion resistance, it is suitable wherever a lightweight yet rigid structural element is required — from frames and reinforcements to trims and guards, through to repairs and modifications of existing installations.

Applications
The EN AW-6060 alloy in the T64 temper combines good mechanical strength with ease of fabrication — the profile can be cut, drilled and bent without specialist equipment. The flat bar is well suited as a structural element in lightweight frames and structures, as reinforcement for aluminium profile joints, as a finishing or spacer strip, and as a material for on-site repairs and adaptations. The mill finish surface allows further processing — anodising, powder coating, or leaving in its natural state for interior applications.
