The Rusty Garden Jewellery Set is a collection of 5 striking decorations laser-cut from high-quality 2 mm corten steel. The set includes: Rusty Hummingbird, Rusty Butterfly, Rusty Milk Thistle, Rusty Dill and Rusty Coneflower — each mounted on a steel rod 80 cm in length. Simply push the rod into the ground to instantly bring a flower bed, border, terrace or balcony to life. No additional assembly is required.
Over time, corten steel develops a natural rusty patina that serves both a decorative and anti-corrosion function — the layer of oxides forms a barrier protecting the core material from further corrosion. The decorations require no maintenance and are resistant to weathering. The rusting process is accelerated using a specialist preparation; however, the full, uniform rusty colour effect is achieved gradually through exposure to the elements. The texture and shade of the finished ornament may differ slightly from those shown in photographs — this is a natural characteristic of corten steel.
The ornaments work not only as decorations but also as original plant supports — they will beautifully enhance the appearance of tomatoes, peppers or potted flowers. The height can be adjusted — standard setting is approx. 80 cm, and with an additional extension (available separately) up to 133 cm, allowing the composition to be tailored to the height of surrounding plants.
