Twilight switch 16A 230V 2-1000 lux IP65 AWZ F&F FILIPOWSKI is used to automatically switch on street lighting, squares, shop fronts, advertisements, etc. after dark and switch them off at dawn.
The unit should be installed in a location with unobstructed access to natural daylight, as changes in its intensity will control the switching on and off of the lighting. The time when the lighting is switched on can be adjusted using a potentiometer. Turning it towards the 'moon' symbol will delay switching on, and towards the 'sun' will speed up switching on. The sensor is equipped with a delay circuit, which minimises the effect of disturbances (such as lightning) on the operation of the device.
The automat is enclosed in a plastic housing with a special sealing flange. It is fixed to the substrate with two screws and the cover with silicone gasket is secured with four screws.
