Twilight switch 16A 230V 2-1000 lux IP20/65 DIN AZ-112 F&F FILIPOWSKI is a device that automatically switches on the lighting of streets, squares, exhibitions, advertisements, etc. at dusk and switches it off at dawn.
Action:
The external probe of the automat should be placed in a location where there is constant access to natural daylight, which with its varying intensity will cause the lighting to switch on and off. The switching time of the lighting can be set using a potentiometer. Turning towards the 'moon' will delay switching on, while turning towards the 'sun' will speed up switching on. The automat has a delay circuit for switching the lighting on and off, which eliminates the influence of disturbances, such as lightning, on the operation of the device.
If the length of the probe connection cable exceeds 10 metres, it should not be run close to a parallel cable that is under mains voltage or carries high currents.
To check whether the automat is working properly, the whole probe should be tightly covered, using, for example, a cardboard box or a dark, thick cloth. Covering only the 'eye' of the probe with a finger is not sufficient, as sunlight is very intense and can penetrate through the plastic casing and human skin and reach the photoelement.
