Through Rivet Nut M8 A2 – Reduced Countersunk Flange, Knurled, AISI 304
Description
Through Rivet Nut M8 A2 – reduced tapered flange, knurled, AISI 304

Through rivet nut M8 made from AISI 304 (A2) stainless steel is a reliable mounting solution wherever it is impossible to create an internal thread. It enables quick and permanent screwing of M8 metric threaded bolts into sheet metal, profiles or other thin-walled materials — ideal for mounting balustrades, steel structures and facade elements.
The reduced tapered flange combined with the knurled shank ensures strong, tight contact with the surface of the mounted element and effectively prevents the rivet nut from rotating in the mounting hole. The through design allows free passage of the bolt through the entire length of the nut, providing greater flexibility when selecting connection length.
Thanks to the use of AISI 304 stainless steel, the rivet nut is characterised by high corrosion resistance, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors — even in environments exposed to moisture and variable atmospheric conditions. Installation is lightning-fast using a rivet gun — simply seat the rivet nut in the hole and compress, and the finished threaded connection is immediately ready for use.

Application
The M8 A2 rivet nut performs excellently wherever permanent threaded connections are required in thin-walled materials — in mounting balustrades, handrails, brackets, stainless steel structures, facade elements and photovoltaic installations. The knurled shank and tapered flange ensure secure seating even in hard-to-reach places, whilst the A2 steel construction guarantees many years of durability without the need for additional anti-corrosion protection.
