Steel adjustable turned hinge with ball and mounting plate – a reliable solution for hanging garden gates. Construction and operating principle
The hinge consists of two turned steel sleeves mounted on a common rotation axis, connected to a mounting plate. The horizontal spindle with M12 thread is terminated with a ball, onto which the appropriate part of the gate is fitted. The adjustment nut on the spindle allows stepless adjustment of the gate hanging height – simply unscrew the nut, set the correct position and retighten. This construction eliminates the need for dismantling when correcting the setting, which is particularly useful after structural sagging or in conditions of large temperature changes, when metal changes its dimensions.
