PSG Handrail Support Balustrade Drive-In ø 14 mm – Stainless Steel AISI 304 Satin, 42.4 mm System
Drive-in handrail support is an element connecting the balustrade post with the handrail, designed for installation by driving directly into the interior of the post. Thanks to the fixed mounting angle, it ensures a rigid and secure connection between the handrail and the post — an ideal solution for straight sections of balustrades where slope adjustment is not required.
The support is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, which guarantees high corrosion resistance and an aesthetic, matt appearance. AISI 304 material performs well both in internal installations and under moderate exposure to atmospheric conditions. The satin finish effectively masks minor scratches that occur during operation, resulting in a long-lasting visual effect without the need for frequent maintenance.
The support structure is adapted to the 42.4 mm balustrade system. The lower part with a knurled edge is driven into a post tube with dimensions 42.4 × 2 mm (external diameter × wall thickness), whilst the upper cradle with profiled curvature fits a handrail with diameter 42.4 mm. The vertical spindle with diameter ø14 mm ensures adequate rigidity of the entire connection.

Installation and application
The support is installed by driving the knurled base into the interior of the balustrade post tube. The knurling around the circumference of the base ensures permanent and stable seating in the tube without the need for additional fixing elements. The cradle at the top is equipped with mounting holes enabling the handrail to be screwed on. The solution is intended for straight sections of balustrades — in the case of balcony balustrades requiring handrail slope adjustment, the use of articulated supports is recommended.
