40×40 mm glass-mounted handrail is an elegant finishing element designed for all-glass balustrades. The profile, mounted directly on the top edge of the glass panel, serves simultaneously as a decorative handrail and glass panel stabiliser. Made from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, it provides high resistance to corrosion, mechanical damage and easy maintenance – an ideal solution for commercial, office and residential buildings.
The handrail is compatible with glass thickness from 8 mm to 21.52 mm, covering both single tempered panels and VSG laminated glazing. A special rubber gasket of handrail length is first applied to the glass edge, followed by the handrail itself. Once fitted, the construction can be additionally secured with anaerobic adhesive for metal – the adhesive sets upon contact with metal and cures when air access is cut off, ensuring a permanent connection.

Installation and application
The profile is fitted from above onto the edge of the glass panel together with the rubber gasket. The installation process requires no specialist tools – it is sufficient to correctly select the gasket for the glass thickness and fit the handrail. Additional anaerobic bonding eliminates the risk of accidental handrail displacement during operation. The handrail in the 40×40 system is compatible with corners and connectors of the same system, allowing for complex balustrade configurations – including on stairs and mezzanines.


The satin finish of AISI 304 steel ensures a modern, understated appearance that perfectly complements glass and contemporary finishing materials. Stainless steel guarantees years of durability without the need for maintenance – even under intensive use conditions in public buildings.
