Description
Mounting Kit for U/L Profile 5000 mm – Glass 20–21.52 mm
Standard mounting kit designed for installing glass panes with a thickness of 20–21.52 mm in aluminium U/L-type profiles with a length of 5 metres. The kit allows for both side and top fixing, ensuring solid stabilisation of the glass pane at 90°. Thanks to precisely matched components, installation is quick and straightforward — the ideal solution for teams carrying out glass balustrade installations in series.
The kit consists of components made from durable plastic and rubber seals, which together provide effective stabilisation of the glass along the full 5-metre length of the profile. The plastic elements act as spacer pads, while the two seals — front and rear — precisely fill the gap between the glass and the profile, eliminating play and vibration.
Rubber Seals
The kit includes two rolls of rubber seals, each 5 m long — a front seal and a rear seal. They differ in cross-sectional profile, allowing correct fitting on both sides of the glass pane within the aluminium profile channel.
Plastic Mounting Components
The kit contains 15 sets of plastic spacer elements, which are distributed evenly along the profile. Their ribbed construction provides rigidity and an even distribution of pressure on the glass, while the angle bracket shape enables stable vertical positioning of the pane.
