GlassMove – Mounting Kit for U/L Profile 5000 mm, Glass 20–21.52 mm
The GlassMove mounting kit is a complete solution for securing glass panes with a thickness of 20–21.52 mm in aluminium U/L profiles with a length of 5000 mm. The system provides stable and reliable retention of the glass panel, holding it at 90° with an adjustment range of ±1°. Thanks to the intuitive installation process, fitting teams can efficiently complete glass balustrade, partition, and enclosure projects — with no additional accessories required.
Kit Contents
The kit contains all the components necessary to mount a glass pane along the full length of a 5-metre aluminium profile:
- Plastic mounting components — 15 sets
- Front rubber gasket — 1 pc × 5 m
- Rear rubber gasket — 1 pc × 5 m
The rubber gaskets are fitted to both the front and rear of the glass pane, ensuring even pressure along the entire length of the profile and eliminating the risk of the glass shifting.
Plastic Mounting Components
Each set consists of several parts — a mounting base marked A and B, two side guides, and an end cap. The letter markings on the components aid correct positioning during installation — even less experienced installers will quickly understand the assembly sequence.
Once the mounting base is assembled with the side guides and end cap, a compact module with grooves for the rubber gaskets is formed, which slides into the aluminium profile. The design provides side and top fixing, offering versatility across a wide range of balustrade configurations.
How It Works
The plastic components are distributed evenly along the aluminium profile, after which the rubber gaskets — front and rear — are inserted. The glass pane is then slid between the gaskets, which cushion any pressure and prevent direct contact between the glass and the aluminium. The system stabilises the glass at 90°, with a permissible angle correction of +1°/−1°, enabling precise levelling even on uneven surfaces.
Rubber Gaskets
Two rubber gaskets, each 5 m in length — one front and one rear — provide continuous, flexible pressure on the glass pane along the entire length of the profile. The black colour of the gaskets blends discreetly with the aluminium profiles, without detracting from the aesthetic appearance of the structure.
