GlassMove – Mounting Kit for U/L Profile 5000 mm, Glass 16–17.52 mm
The GlassMove mounting kit is a complete set of components required for the professional installation of glass panels in 5-metre aluminium U/L profiles. The system is designed for glass panes with a thickness of 16 to 17.52 mm, ensuring stable and secure glazing. Thanks to precisely engineered components, installation is fast and straightforward, with the glass stabilised at 90° for a perfect fit. The kit includes both plastic fixing elements and rubber seals for the full length of the profile — a single kit provides everything needed to complete the installation without ordering additional parts.
Plastic Mounting Components
The kit includes 15 sets of plastic mounting components, distributed evenly along the full length of the profile. Each set consists of a base marked A and B, along with a spacer strip, making correct installation straightforward and ensuring consistent results across every job. The components are made from durable plastic — resistant to deformation and providing a secure hold on the glass panel from both the side and the top of the profile.
Rubber Seals
The kit contains 2 rolls of rubber seals, each 5 m long — one for the front and one for the rear of the glass panel. The seals ensure uniform contact between the glass and the profile along its entire length, eliminating play and vibration. The black rubber, with its carefully selected hardness, absorbs stress and protects the glass edges from damage, whilst providing a neat, discreet finish.
