Description
Mounting Kit for Aluminium U/L Profile 5000 mm – Glass 12–13.52 mm
Mounting kit for aluminium U/L profile designed for the correct stabilisation of glass panels with a thickness of 12 to 13.52 mm in 5-metre aluminium profiles. The complete set of seals and spacer elements enables fast, repeatable installation of glass at 90° — with no need for additional cutting or adjustment of components.
The mounting system has been designed with installation teams fitting glass balustrades on U/L-type profiles in mind. Two rubber seals (front and rear), each 5000 mm in length, ensure even clamping pressure along the full length of the profile, while 15 complete sets of plastic mounting elements guarantee a stable position of the glass panel within the channel. This allows installation to proceed efficiently and without risk of the glass shifting — which is critical when working at height and with large glass panels.

The rubber seals differ in cross-sectional profile — the front seal (narrower) and the rear seal (wider) are each dedicated to a specific side of the profile. The plastic spacer elements, featuring reinforcing ribs, are distributed evenly along the length of the channel, preventing point loading on the glass and ensuring stable seating. The complete kit is supplied in cardboard packaging, making storage and transport to site straightforward.
