Description
GlassMove – Mounting Kit for U/L Profiles 2500 mm, Glass 16–17.52 mm
The GlassMove mounting kit is a complete solution designed for 2.5-metre aluminium U/L profiles, enabling stable and secure installation of glass panels with a thickness of 16 to 17.52 mm. Thanks to precisely selected plastic components and rubber gaskets, the system ensures reliable retention of the glass pane within the profile along its entire length.
The GlassMove system significantly streamlines the installation of glass balustrades — fitting is carried out quickly and effortlessly, without the need for specialist tools. The design of the mounting components guarantees glass stabilisation at 90°, ensuring a perfectly vertical alignment of the panel. The system also offers an adjustment range of ±1°, allowing precise fine-tuning of the glass position even where minor surface irregularities are present.
The markings A and B embossed on the plastic components facilitate correct installation — each component is clearly assigned to either the front or rear side of the profile, eliminating the risk of errors and speeding up the work of the installation team.
Kit Contents
The kit includes all necessary components for a complete installation along the full length of a 2500 mm profile:
- Plastic mounting components: 8 sets (body with gasket, stabilising strip, locking clip)
- Front rubber gasket: 1 pc × 2500 mm
- Rear rubber gasket: 1 pc × 2500 mm
Rubber Gaskets
Two black rubber gaskets, each 2500 mm in length, form a key element of the kit. The front and rear gaskets differ in cross-sectional profile, ensuring optimal compression and vibration damping of the glass pane along the entire length of the aluminium profile.
Plastic Components – Details
The components are manufactured from durable ABS plastic and comprise a main body with an integrated rubber stabilising insert, a spacer strip, and a locking clip. Each component is marked with the letters A and B to facilitate identification of the mounting sides.
