Mounting Kit for Aluminium U/L Profiles 2500 mm – Glass 20–21.52 mm
Mounting kit for aluminium U/L profiles is a complete solution enabling efficient and precise installation of glass panes with a thickness of 20 to 21.52 mm in profiles with a length of 2500 mm. Thanks to carefully selected components — rubber gaskets and dedicated plastic elements — the glass is stabilised at 90°, ensuring perfect alignment of the pane for both side and top fixing.
The kit eliminates the need to source gaskets and mounting accessories separately, saving time during material preparation. It is a versatile solution suitable for residential and commercial construction wherever a robust and aesthetically pleasing installation of glass elements is required — including balustrades, glass enclosures, and screens.
Rubber Gaskets
The kit includes two rubber gaskets, each 2500 mm in length — one front and one rear. Both components are made from flexible rubber in black. The rear gasket (wider, with a pronounced wave profile) provides the primary stabilisation of the glass pane within the profile channel, whilst the front gasket (narrower, with a flat profile) closes the mounting space and delivers a neat finish. Together they form a clamping system that securely holds the glass pane and protects it against vibration and micro-movement.
Plastic Mounting Components
The kit contains 8 sets of plastic mounting components in green. Each component features an L-shaped stop edge that stabilises the glass pane and positions it precisely at a right angle. The underside of each component has a ribbed (lattice) construction, providing high rigidity at low weight. The mounting components are distributed evenly along the profile, creating support and positioning points for the glass pane.
