The M12 adjustable hinge from Komet is a robust hardware component designed for hanging garden gates, fence gates and garage gates. Thanks to the M12 thread, it enables smooth distance adjustment between the post and gate leaf in the range of 42–60 mm — without the need to dismantle the entire gate leaf. For installation teams, this means faster gap setting and easier corrections after construction installation.
Made from S235JR steel and coated with galvanised zinc (white zinc), the hinge is corrosion-resistant and maintains an aesthetic, uniform appearance even after years of exposure to varying weather conditions. Galvanised zinc coating protects against rust whilst giving the surface an attractive, bright shade that complements silver and anthracite-coloured fencing well.

Dimensions and installation
The rectangular plate measuring 75 × 37 mm has 4 holes Ø7 mm arranged symmetrically with 21 × 59 mm spacing, allowing secure fastening to steel or masonry posts. The plate thickness of 2.5 mm ensures rigidity whilst maintaining a low profile.
