Isolator switch 3-phase 3P 100A 240V IS-100/3 276284 by EATON referred to among electricians as an FR-type disconnector, is a popular device installed in many residential and industrial switchgear that is used to disconnect all circuits and, in particular, acts as a main circuit breaker.
It is a key device in almost every fuse box that acts as the main (emergency) circuit breaker. Its second function is that it can be permanently isolated from the power supply for servicing.
