Description
Hager CDA225J – residual current circuit breaker 1P+N 25A 30mA type A

Hager CDA225J is a double-pole type A residual current circuit breaker with a rated current of 25 A and sensitivity of 30 mA, designed for shock protection in single-phase installations. The device detects both sinusoidal AC residual currents and pulsating DC currents, making it a suitable choice for circuits supplying photovoltaic inverters, electric vehicle charging stations and equipment with switch-mode power supplies.
The residual current indicator allows quick identification of whether tripping was caused by a leakage current or a manual switch-off — this shortens diagnostic time on site. The genuine contact position indicator shows whether the contacts are actually mechanically open, increasing safety during service work.
Practical features
- Type A — detects pulsating DC components, required for PV inverters and EV chargers
- Easy installation of cables and phase busbars — speeds up work in the switchboard
- Safe live working thanks to insulated screwdrivers — no risk of damaging the housing
- Sealing option available for special applications
- Compact design occupying only 2 modules on the DIN rail
