The 40x40 mm glass-mounted handrail is an elegant finishing element designed for all-glass balustrade systems. The U-section profile is fitted directly onto the top edge of the glass panel, serving simultaneously as an aesthetic handrail and a stabiliser for the glass panels. An ideal solution for companies delivering contemporary interior projects — staircases, mezzanines, balconies, and terraces.

Installation is quick and straightforward — a rubber gasket is applied along the full length of the handrail onto the top edge of the glass, and the profile is then pressed into place. For a durable and secure bond, the handrail can be additionally fixed using anaerobic adhesive for metal, which cures upon contact with metal and sets once air is excluded. This means installation requires no drilling or welding, significantly reducing on-site labour time.

The handrail is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, ensuring excellent resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion, as well as ease of maintenance. The satin surface effectively conceals fingerprints, which is a significant advantage in high-traffic environments. The profile is compatible with glass thicknesses ranging from 8 mm to 21.52 mm, making it suitable for use with both single toughened glass panels and multi-layered laminated VSG glass.
