Glass canopy system M10 3-element back plate fi 10 mm glass 8-17.52 mm AISI 304 satin

The system consists of three precision-machined connectors made from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, ensuring long-lasting durability and an attractive appearance. Each component features a concealed fixing hole, giving the entire assembly an elegant, minimalist look. The glass does not come into direct contact with metal — the kit includes rubber pressure pads that protect the panel and hold it securely in position.

The kit does not include the glass panel or tie rods — these must be selected separately. M10-threaded tie rods are available in three lengths: 1 m, 1.2 m and 1.5 m, and are manufactured from stainless steel.

Installation Principle

The tie rod is fixed to the building façade using the rod-to-wall connector (component a) and then tensioned to achieve the optimal canopy position. The wall-to-glass connector (component c) holds the lower edge of the glass panel at a distance of 88 mm from the façade, while the glass-to-rod connector (component b) transfers the load to the tie rod. The rod angle adjustment range is up to 95°, allowing the system to be adapted to a variety of installation conditions.

Versatility of application is a key feature of this system. For buildings with a thick layer of external insulation, an additional mounting plate can be used to ensure secure anchoring of the connectors into the load-bearing wall. This makes the kit suitable for both new-build projects and the refurbishment of existing façades. Glass canopies protect the entrance area from the elements whilst giving the building a modern, lightweight aesthetic.
