Description
Glass balustrade handrail gasket for 16–17.5 mm glass, 24x24 mm profile, 5 m length

24x24 mm compression rubber designed for fitted handrails in glass balustrades. The gasket bonded inside the handrail using anaerobic adhesive effectively secures and protects glass panels with thickness from 16 to 17.5 mm. Supplied in convenient 5-metre lengths, facilitating material planning and minimising waste on site.
The triangular cross-section profile with internal chambers ensures uniform compression along the entire handrail length and dampens vibrations and stresses in the glass panel. The elastic material compensates for glass thickness tolerances within 1.5 mm, allowing one gasket size to accommodate different panels — a convenient solution for orders with multiple glazing variants.

Application and installation
The gasket should be bonded inside the fitted handrail using anaerobic adhesive. Once cured, the adhesive permanently bonds the rubber to the handrail metal, creating a stable seat for the glass panel. This ensures the glass is securely held and protected against movement, vibrations and mechanical damage to the edges. The solution works well in both internal and external balustrades — the elastic material maintains its properties across a wide temperature range.
