Strap hinge 800/40 mm is a robust hinge arm designed for swing gates and fencing. The massive, steel construction with a length of 800 mm ensures stable load transfer even with heavy gate leaves. Three mounting holes evenly distributed along the entire length of the arm allow for secure and permanent fixing to the gate leaf using bolts.
The hinge sleeve positioned at one end of the arm enables mounting on the gate pin, creating a classic, reliable rotating mechanism. Application and installation
The strap hinge 800/40 is designed primarily for swing gates – both single and double leaf. It will also work well in garden gates and farm gates. The arm is fixed to the gate leaf using bolts passing through the square mounting holes, and the sleeve is fitted onto the pin mounted in the post. Thanks to the length of 800 mm, the hinge effectively distributes forces over a large area of the gate leaf, which increases the durability of the entire fixing and prevents deformation.
