Garden Jewellery 'Milk Thistle' is a striking garden decoration laser-cut from high-quality 2 mm Corten steel. It faithfully reproduces the shape of a natural milk thistle – a plant with characteristically spiny leaves and a spherical flower head. When exposed to the elements, the steel develops a natural, rusty patina, which serves both as a decorative feature and a protective layer against further corrosion. As a result, the decoration looks spectacular throughout the year – among spring flowers, summer grasses, autumn leaves, and even covered in winter frost.
The ornament is mounted on a 6 mm diameter, 80 cm long steel rod, which simply needs to be pushed into the ground – no additional fixing, tools, or foundations required. This makes it an ideal solution for quickly placing decorations in borders, pots, among perennials and shrubs.
Height Adjustment
The decoration can be used at two different heights. In the standard configuration, the rod provides a height of 80 cm. By purchasing a separate extension (a 60 cm rod with a joining sleeve), the total installation height increases to 133 cm – allowing the flower to be displayed beautifully even among taller plants. The extension connects to the main rod by simply sliding it into the sleeve.

Corten Steel – Weatherproof Material
Corten steel is an alloy with enhanced resistance to atmospheric corrosion. Its surface develops a layer of oxides in a warm, rusty hue, which acts as a natural anti-corrosion barrier – halting further degradation of the material. As a result, the decoration requires no painting, lacquering, or any maintenance whatsoever. Over time, the patina matures, and the colour becomes increasingly rich and distinguished.
