Rusty Hibiscus is a striking garden decoration laser-cut from high-quality corten steel, 2 mm thick. The hibiscus flower with its characteristic stamen column is mounted on a steel rod – simply push it into the ground to instantly bring a flowerbed, lawn, or balcony planter to life. Corten naturally develops a protective patina in warm shades of rust and mahogany, meaning the decoration requires no painting, sealing, or maintenance and grows more distinguished in appearance year after year.
Every piece develops its colour in a unique way, making it a one-of-a-kind feature in any arrangement. The hibiscus also works as a support for climbing plants – the slender rod provides a natural guide for stems, while the decorative flower crowns the composition.
Adjustable display height
The ornament is fitted to a rod with a diameter of ⌀6 mm and a length of 80 cm, allowing the flower to be displayed at a comfortable height immediately after being pushed into the ground. With the optional extension rod of 60 cm (sold separately), the total height can be increased to 133 cm. The sleeve-joint connection system ensures a firm and stable union between both elements without the need for tools.

Properties of corten steel
Corten steel is an alloy that, when exposed to atmospheric conditions, develops a compact layer of rust-coloured oxides. This patina serves both a decorative and protective function – it forms a barrier that prevents further corrosion.
