Garden Stake – Dark Castle XL Garden Ornament 59×72 cm, Corten Steel

The Dark Castle XL garden ornament is a striking decoration made from corten steel, perfectly suited to a Halloween or autumnal garden setting. The open-work motif of a haunted castle with flying bats and bare trees, set within a circular frame, draws the eye and lends the space a truly distinctive, gothic character. The decoration is ready to use straight from the box — simply push it into the ground in your chosen spot, with no additional assembly or tools required.

When exposed to the elements, corten steel develops a characteristic rust-coloured patina that serves both a decorative purpose and acts as a natural anti-corrosion protection. The layer of oxides forms a barrier that shields the metal from further corrosion, meaning the decoration requires no maintenance or painting. Over time, the ornament takes on an increasingly vintage appearance, complementing the raw, autumnal-winter landscape of a garden beautifully.

Use and Arrangement

The Dark Castle works perfectly as a standalone decorative focal point or as part of a larger Halloween composition. It can be pushed into a lawn, placed among shrubs, beneath a tree, or along a path leading to the house. The large XL format (59 × 72 cm) ensures visibility from a distance, making it an eye-catching element for seasonal front garden displays, restaurant gardens, venue entrances, or leisure areas.
