The Hedgehog garden scarecrow by Hanger is a garden decoration that combines the function of bird deterrence with exceptional loft-style aesthetics. Made from raw corten steel, it develops a natural rusty patina that serves both as a decorative element and an effective anti-corrosion protection — the layer of oxides forms a barrier that prevents further corrosion. As a result, the scarecrow retains its durability and attractive appearance for many years without the need for maintenance.
The hedgehog silhouette with an apple on its back, laser-cut from 2 mm thick steel, looks natural and striking both among garden plants and on a terrace or balcony. Unlike plastic scarecrows that quickly fade under UV radiation, the steel hedgehog is resistant to harsh weather conditions and does not lose its character over time.
Installation and use
Installation is extremely straightforward — simply push the scarecrow into the ground using the two legs with holes located at the base of the product. No additional tools or mounting components are required. The hedgehog effectively deters pigeons and other birds that peck seeds from the soil or foul balconies and terraces.

The presented variant is made from corten steel, which naturally develops a characteristic rust-coloured patina. The rusty surface layer is both a decorative element and a natural form of protection — the corrosion process stops at the protective oxide layer. The Hedgehog garden scarecrow is also available in a Black Structure (RAL 9005) version — a fine-texture colour with a warmer feel than standard matt, featuring a scratch-resistant powder-coat finish.
